Three years after graduating at the Polytechnic of Central London, I took a sideways step from surveying into architectural history. This involved writing two books on Georgian architecture and then running the Spitalfields Historic Buildings Trust in the 1990s. At the same time I started to collect watercolours and drawings and began dealing in 2005, with an arcade stand at Portobello Road in London and, for a short time, at my gallery in Ludlow, Shropshire.
Now based in Kent, as an independent dealer I am happy to offer advice on buying, selling and collecting. I hope you will enjoy browsing my stock and welcome any enquiries you may have.
Publications: London’s Georgian Houses (1986), Bedford Square, an Architectural Study (1990) plus numerous articles including Country Life, Times Literary Supplement, The Georgian Group Journal, etc.
