Inscribed in pencil given by Pugin…..St Phillip’s Chapel, Regent St with further inscriptions verso, almost certainly by Pugin, in pencil the architraves around the windows to be a little larger….

Together with a small engraving of the Chapel with adjacent houses from a drawing by Thomas Shepherd, published 1827 and a plate from Edifices of London showing the front elevation and floor plan of the Chapel, on paper watermarked J Whatman 1822, published 1823, and another associated engraving.

Provenance: Sold Sotheby’s London, 10 April 1997 as part of a folio. And Dr. Nigel Temple, author and historian and expert on John Nash and the Repton family
