THOMAS ELLIS ROGERS (1781-1844)
Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire, circa 1820
Pencil, 33x25cm, unframed
Thomas Ellis Rogers became Rector of Lackford, Suffolk in 1807. I am grateful to the late Dr John Blatchly FSA (1932-2015), eminent historian of the County of Suffolk for identifying Rogers as the artist of this and a large batch of drawings of Suffolk and Norfolk country houses.
